Trina’s Beginning…
In March 1973, our founder and still owner today, Ryan J. Chronic opened a new restaurant, featuring: nostalgic antiques, brass rails, tiffany glass lamps and stain glass windows…known as RJC’s Trina’s Restaurant of Nostalgia in the part of Dallas, Texas of what’s now called, West End.
Who’s Trina?
Yes, there was a Trina.
Our founder and still owner Ryan J. Chronic named his restaurant, Trina’s after a woman who once had love interest on, Trina N. Robertson. Ryan J. Chronic did find out that Trina already was in a relationship with another man. However, just for her friendship…he kept the restaurant business going under the name…Trina’s beginning in 1975 on Greenville Ave. in Dallas, Texas. Even continues to never stop growing today.
